U19 High School Referee Assignment Information

Dear Club Representatives:

All of the referee requests that we received as of today for Spring 2010 have now been posted on the Referees Society website at:
http://potomacrefer ees.com/Upcoming Games.Asp
Please check my work. (Some of you followed instructions and made it easy; some of you sent missives requiring lots of interpretation. )

You need to search on the name of your club, not just check the dates that you sent in.
That will let you can catch a game on a wrong date, an opponent who thinks they are playing against you (without your knowledge),
or games that your opponents have not submitted.
If you find an error where your team is listed as “Home”, please contact me.
If you find an error or omission where your team is listed at “Visitor”, CONTACT THEM, NOT ME.
Hosting/home teams are responsible for sending in requests and an corrections.
And if all is well, please don’t send any message at all.

I will try to get assignments posted by Wednesday for next weekend . (I’ve just finished entering more than 300 games!)
Usually, assignments will be posted by Monday for the following weekend.

I will be on overseas travel from 27 February through 15 March. I will try to get all weekend assignments posted for that period before I leave. Assignments for the weekend of 20 March will go up shortly after my return. Please do NOT call my cell phone while I’m on travel, unless you really believe that I can help you better than Derek can. I will have limited email access

If you have changes, please le me know following the original format:
one line per game; no life story.

While collecting schedules, I was still getting email messages from match secretaries claiming that were not on one of the PRU listserves and hadn’t received the email with the format for requesting referees. If you are a club officer, please make sure that your fellow officers are on the appropriate union listserves. You do not need to be on the listserve for the Referees Society unless you also officate or just want to hear our chatter.

All of the usual procedures for contacting referees and advising me of changes/cancellatio ns remain in force.
