The Frederick Art Club was founded in Frederick, Maryland, in August 1897.

Originally a small league of women art students, it has evolved into a Frederick institution that now has more than 150 members who share an interest in the arts.

Our mission is to explore, enlighten, and generate an appreciation of

art among members and in the broader community. We also make time to network, nurture friendships, and simply enjoy each other’s company.
