Sacred Arts is located in the Shadow Gallery Tattoo Studio in Frederick, Maryland. Run by local artist, Shane Acuff, our work ranges from large-scale sleeves, body suits & coverups, to linework, portraits, watercolors, and everything in between. We specialize in creating custom, hand-drawn tattoos tailored to fit your body!

Each tattoo we create is original and unique to the person who wears it. We believe that adding a piece of art to your body is a sacred act, so we designed the studio to offer a private, peaceful experience.

Let there be ink. Tattoo Alchemy is a customer friendly tattoo studio that is able and strong. We are open minded and take pride in meeting the goals of our customers.

Tattoo Alchemy was born on March 9th 2015. Owner and Artist Robert G. Vendemmia is a Frederick native who had always aspired to own be in business for himself and be a career artist. He and his friends and fellow tattoo artists try their best to make the customers vision become tattoo. We believe that everyone’s ideas are good ideas and if we try hard enough we can make them work. Tattoo Alchemy also offers piercings and jewelry for anyone looking to get their first, or add to their collection of piercings and jewelry.

Each one of our artists is incredibly talented and committed to coming up with the perfect design every time. We want to make sure that every tattoo that we do will make our customers happy forever, not just for the first few days. So all of our consultation and planning time is free and we make certain to get it right!

We delight in the details, from placement perfection, to meticulous set up, all the way through reviewing care instructions for your new art. Our process is clean, fun, friendly, and tailored to your needs.

While we do specialize in modifying and beautifying the body, our artists are gifted in many mediums. We encourage all custom and commission requests; the skin is not the limit!

We also carry a wide variety of body jewelry, from the basics, to the fancy, to the custom BVLA, Anatometal, and Neometal pieces. In addition, you will find all sorts of unique adornments, rogue taxidermy, antiques, and memorabilia to pique your curiosities!

We love bringing our customer’s visions to life, even if they aren’t quite sure what that is or how to describe it yet.
