Expert Edge Grant<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Downtown Frederick Partnership\u2019s Expert Edge Grant provides small businesses with direct access to professional services \u2014 including accounting, marketing, branding, business coaching, or other specialized expertise \u2014 to build capacity, strengthen operations, and support long-term success in Downtown Frederick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications will be accepted in two rounds: Jan 7 – Feb 11 (Round 1) and April 1 – May 6 (Round 2). $12,500 will be available per round, with a maximum award of $1,500 per business. Round 2 applications will be accepted from April 1 through May 6: downtownfrederick.org\/expertedge<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission: Interior Grant<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Downtown Frederick Partnership offers a Mission: Interior Grant<\/strong><\/a> to support critical interior capital repairs that enhance individual business success and district vitality. The 2026 Mission: Interior grant application closes on June 12, 2026. Grants are awarded through a competitive process. Businesses can receive matching grants of up to $5,000 per location, with $25,000 available for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Facade Improvement Grant<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Downtown Frederick Partnership offers a Facade Improvement Grant that will provide 50 percent of eligible facade improvement costs up to a maximum grant amount of $20,000. Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. Grants can be provided to either the property owner or the tenant\/business owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Projects must be approved prior<\/em> to beginning work. Painting, awnings, lighting, signage and other projects are eligible for funding. Grants are available to commercial building facades in Downtown Frederick. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire Suppression Incentive Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
